We have a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join our highly professional and experienced Canberra team. We are currently expanding our operation in Canberra to accommodate recent and future growth.

THE ROLE

To plan and coordinate daily and monthly activities, ensuring staff and company resource utilisation.

Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives into the current operation (where applicable).

Ensure all staff are adequately trained on all systems and operational procedures. Read customer requirements accurately to anticipate their needs and identify opportunities. Identify and implement changes in the operational function to raise standards of performance. Ensure regulatory compliance & safety – at all times.

THE CANDIDATE

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of management experience within the removals, transport or warehousing industries. Excellent working knowledge of scheduling, warehousing and fleet control. Exceptional customer service cost control and time management skills.

The ability to anticipate and fix issues in advance is essential and the ability to execute effective decisions.

Understanding of a basic profit and loss and balance sheets is an advantage.
